Cruise line transfer and luggage

I am taking the Disney cruise line transfer from the airport to the port. I arrive at 9:15 am the day of the cruise. Does Disney get my luggage for me at the airport and deliver it to the ship like magical express does? Also, I am taking it for the return also. How does this work? Thanks

If you are using the DCL transfer they will take care of picking up any of your luggage that you have attached cruise line bag tags to. Once you check your bags at your home airport, you won't see them again until they are delivered to your stateroom.

I'm not certain how the return trip works; we're 'locals' so we've always driven between home and the port. Rather than possibly give you bad info, I'll let someone with actual experience fill you in on that aspect.

You will claim your luggage post cruise and clear customs. Hang a left when exiting the building and the cast members will scan your KTTW card to confirm your transfer and tell you what bus to board and put your luggage on.
