Room Only one night, package the rest...

We booked CBR with free dining a few months ago for a Tuesday - Monday stay. When we went to get airfare it was a lot cheaper to fly out on Monday night instead of any time Tuesday so I booked that flight (getting in at 9:50pm) and a room only for Monday night at CBR in the same room type because it was too late to add to the package.

Anyway, I have never done this before and was wondering what other's experiences have been. I know they can't guarantee that we will stay in the same room, but I really don't see why it would be a problem.

Do we have to go back the next morning to check in for our package? Since we are coming in so late can we mill about until 12am and check in to get it out of the way? We want to head to Magic Kingdom first thing in the morning so as little time wasted as possible is great, especially since the check in is in a different building then the food court.

Any advise/experiences would be greatly appreciated!!!

Staying in the same room usually isn't a big deal, but you will have to go back and check-in. Check-in for the next day begins at 7 am, though, not midnight. You can be back at the check-in desk right at 7, but midnight won't help you. I've arrived at 6:30 am before and had to wait a few minutes before we could check-in for that day.
