My husband and I are planning a trip in September. We don't have any kids and are in our mid-20's. Any suggestions on what to see/not see? My husband has never been to Disney World and I was there when I was about eight so I don't remember much. We're going to be going for 6 days. The only thing I know we want to see is Animal Kingdom and Sea World. Thanks!

Don't foget to still take in the Magic Kingdom! It is a totally different experience going alone as an adult than it was when you were a kid. For a more grown-up adventure, check out Pleasure Island or the Boardwalk. Both offer adult friendly environments. I've also found I have a far greater appreciation for the countries in World Showcase now than I did as a child. There are some incredibly interesting (and romantic!) restaurants there!

My fiance and I are both in our mid 20's and we have been to Disney World twice in two years and I am currently planning on going again this September. I would suggest to try to go to all 4 theme parks. There are plenty of things to do that adults can enjoy just as much as kids(and often much more!!). There are many wonderful restraunts to eat at, the nighttime parades and shows are excellent, and there are both relaxing rides and thrill rides. Our favorite park is Epcot, it seems to be geared towards a more mature crowd I would also recommend going to either Typhon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, which are both waterparks. At night, there is Pleasure Island, which has about eight different nightclubs. Regardless of your age, there is something to do at Disney World.

There is plenty for you to do. My wife and I are mid 20's and we spent our honeymoon there less than 2 months ago and had the time of our lives. Be sure and go to all 4 parks, there are many things in each park you will enjoy. We spent the most time in Epcot, which was our favorite by far. We didn't go to Pleasure Island, but will next time. Be sure and visit the Boardwalk. We enjoyed the trip so much that we are going back in July.

My husband and I are in our late twenties (ack!!!) and we LOVE WDW! Every night we wound up back at Epcot - except for the one night during our trip when the MSEP was running. We love the Magic Kingdom, but in Epcot we can relax and enjoy beautiful scenery and great food.

There is something to be said the for WDW vacation without kids - I remember walking through the parks thinking "Mom didn't want to wait for that" and "That's where Dad didn't want to buy us ice cream." Not that my trips with Mom & Dad weren't great, but they didn't usually allow us to eat ice cream for breakfast (now I can!! ).

Be sure to take advantage of the Boardwalk and Pleasure Island - they are great fun.

A good resource for you would be the Birnbaum's "WDW Without Kids". It's available in any bookstore, and has tons of information for people our age. It will tell you everything you want to know plus some stuff that you never even thought of. Have fun!

    Cool

I was in my 20's for my first trip and my husband had not been there since he was a kid. He had the most fun experiencing my first look at Main Street and night. Since you'll be there for 6 days, I would strongly recommend letting the child in you come out and see it all. Fantasy Land was my favorite in my 20's and still is. You will have so much fun. You may especially enjoy World Showcase at Epcot. Have a special dinner at one of the Epoct restaurants. You won't soon forget it!

I agree with everyone else so far. You should try and do all 4 Disney parks. As for the nightlife, we spend alot of time at The West Side and The Shopping Village. Haven't been to Pleasure Island recently. HHhhmmmm...maybe we will do that next week...

My wife and I are late 20's/early thirties with no kids and we go at least twice a year.

I'll steer clear of talking about the theme parks since I'm sure you'll do all of those.

There are lots of romantic things to do in WDW. In fact ... Here at Intercot we have a section dedicated to just this info! Click here to view it:

    http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/adults/romance.asp

There are so many nice places to eat ... I recommend the California Grill atop the Contemporary Resort and Alfredo's in Epcot.

Also ... Make sure to go to Pleasure Island and enjoy the clubs there !

My wife and I were 27 when we honeymooned in WDW and we agreed that we had to go back one more time before we had children, so we went for her 29th birthday! It's true that there's nothing like WDW as two free adults who can act like kids. Do things at your own whim and not have to worry about height restrictions or fussy eaters. My suggestion is that if you're staying on property enjoy a peaceful evening at your resort. Eat at the Mexican Pavilion or at Maya Grill in Coronado Springs. Enjoy a pastry with wine at France, and go on ALL the rides! Have fun!

Strongly agree with everyone here - we were in our mid-twenties when we took our honeymoon at WDW (way back when there was ONLY the Magic Kingdom!) and have been 40+ times since - you really MUST try to visit all four theme parks!!! You MUST experience them for yourselves to understand all the fun and magic. DON'T to nay-sayers who say that the MK is for kids, or Animal Kingdom is a zoo, or Epcot is boreing, etc. GO, GO, GO and see for yourselves why THOUSANDS of young couples say that WDW is the most romantic, wonderful, relaxing, exciting place you can visit. One more suggestion: EAT! There are awesome restaurants - from cozy and romantic to fun and high-spirited. California Grill is fantastic, as is the Flying Fish (over at the Boardwalk Resort). So...ALL of us who visited WDW for the first time in our mid-twenties know you will have the TIME of your LIVES!!!!
