    Default Epcot

It took forever to get to Epcot from Pop Century. The line for skyline was super long. Left room before 10 and got in Epcot after 11:30. Most of this time was spent standing in sun at transfer station.

Have heard several cast members saying how this is the perfect week. Low crowds and perfect weather.

It is going to be nice weather wise. I thought Epcot was extremely crowded. That is 35% on a slow day☹️??

I didn’t get as much done as planned and was actually in the park less than 5 hours. I went to 2 of the Animation academy classes and listening to the Voices of Liberty do a Disney tunes concert. Both activities were lots of fun and the social distancing was very well thought out.

I saw two character cavalcades - one with Mickey and Minnie. One with Disney Princesses. They are cool. Love the horses used for the Princesses.

I got fish and chips in England. The restaurant is closed but the stand to order is open. The bar is open if you want to order drinks outside. Was surprised Germany had the caramel shop open. Cast members were not from Germany. Was able to get my popcorn and dark chocolate caramels so was a happy girl💕

Also REALLY surprised the large shop in Japan was open. That was the one inside shop I allowed myself to go into. Love the China and all the Kiki delivery service. Saw only one cast member that could have been from Japan. The rest of the cast members weren’t.

Stopped in France and got a Baguette and croissant to bring back to room. Breakfast with coffee tomorrow.

Their are two large barge/island structures out in water and I think I heard 3 more to come...... they are really big. The water view is pretty much gone. I hope this new show is fantastic. I will miss Illuminations so much.

Enjoyed the short day at Epcot. The crowd made me a little uncomfortable but I stayed socially distant and didn’t go in any buildings except shop in Japan for any length of time.

I enjoyed being at Epcot rather than shoveling the 6 inches of new snow at home. But it is definitely not worth a trip until these challenging times are over if you don’t go to WDW often. I think it is too crowded. I am probably going to cancel my studios day. I want to see the new Star Wars really, really bad but I don’t want to find myself in a crowd I can’t avoid. Not sure if I will go to MK. Just saw the castle has barricading around it and the moat is drained. They are putting up a big 50 for the celebration and not sure what else. I do plan to spend a day walking around AK and going back to Epcot the first day of the flower show.

Sorry to hear you found Epcot more crowded than you had hoped. Still, it sounds like you are enjoying some time in better weather.

Thanks for sharing! It is good to hear that the caramel shop and the Japan store are open - they are two of my favourite places. But, I'm sorry the crowds felt busy, that must have been so uncomfortable.
