I'm just curious what the net cost is as compared to say, a year ago? Surely Disney is looking to pass some additional costs on to the consumer. If they aren't collecting based on the room rate then are they doing it through other fess or higher costs for food and merch?

I haven't had time to look into the "extra flexibility" for modifications so I have a question. I know what the answer most likely is but I'm gonna ask it because it would actually make me consider making a reservation.

If I were to make a reservation under this discount and then modify the reservation by postponing to a later date if the mask requirement has not been dropped yet, will I still get the same rate just they move my reservation to the later date or would I lose the discount. Basically, if I make one now for a week in February or March but it gets close to that time and they are still requiring masks, can I move it to June and still have the same rate or would it be at full rate for that time? I doubt they are doing that but that is the only way I would make a reservation now because I am not going to go if I have to wear a mask while at the parks.

    Hi 1DisneyNut,

No, if you modify the reservation to a future time period you are subject to the pricing available at that time for that specific resort and category.

But as always, if you book with us we apply any discounts available for those future dates as they are released.

I looked, but I do not have enough data readily available to truly compare. I will say that last year the discount for this time period was "save up to 25%" so we are seeing an extra 10% on the Villa and Deluxes that are open.
