Default Getting more Fastpasses after use

Good morning Intercot. I was in Epcot yesterday and had three fastpasses scheduled for in the morning. Once I used the first one I tried to book another on the app and I got the message that my fastpass limit had been reached, so I waited until the entire window had passed and still the same message. Later after all three fastpasses had been used and all times passed, I tried again and still the message that I had reached my fastpass limit for the day. I hear people all the time saying that they can obtain another fastpass after using them. Any clue what I am missing here?

    Thanks,
    Anthony

I don't know that I have a good answer for you, but by chance were you trying to make an extra fast pass for a park other than EPCOT? In the past, I've had issues making FP that way. When I left the park, for some reason I then could use the app to make an additional fast pass. I'm not sure what being in the park has to do with anything, but it could be a potential issue for you.

I'm not sure there is anyone anywhere who totally understands how fast pass scheduling actually works!!

Once you use all three, you should be able to book one more one-at-a-time. Did this just as recently as earlier this month.

Could have been an error with the App or one of your redemption didn't register with the system.

In 15 years of going to WDW several times per year, I have yet to be able to book more fastpasses after using my original three. It seems that they don't show as being used in the app nor do they time out at the end of the window. Each time, the app tells me that I have reached my fastpass limit, yet Disney says I'm supposed to be able to get more.

At first I thought that you only got more if you went to the kiosk and that may have been the case at one point. But you're now supposed to be able to book more through the app when yours are used or your window times out. Disney is quite clear on that.

One time, my fastpasses eventually timed out later in the day but there were no more fastpasses available by then.

After you have booked all of your pre-booked FP, you should be able to book more. If you're always having issues, I'd give Disney IT a call. When it is actually happening in the parks, instead of booking a new one, try modifying one of your existing ones. Sometimes that helps and lets you book another.

If you didn't book all three to start, that can cause an issue, since the tiers are still expecting you to book all of them. Frustrating.

We had a mess of issues with FP booking via MDE. Guest Relations told us that there have been lots of problems with MDE of late (we were there 23-25 NOV). Things aren’t smooth . . .
