Default Dec 9 -11. Is that a good time?

I'm thinking about staying Dec. 9 - 11. Is that a good time to go see the holiday decorations? It should be before the Christmas rush starts, right? There's a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party going on Dec 10 that I would like to attend. Any advice?
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

Good time to go. Crowd levels are down -- post-Thanksgiving and pre-Christmas. Temps are (generally) very comfortable, and it is dry. The only thing that might cause some crowding at the value resorts would be Pop Warner football championships and cheerleaders, but they don't normally affect the parks heavily.

It also doesn't hurt that that is a Mon-Wed time frame. "Slowest" part of the week.

My ex and I used to go down around Dec. 4 (our anniversary) and enjoyed the parks very much at that time. I continued going (solo) at that time for the next few years and enjoyed every minute of my trips.

Thank you. I figured it would be good, but I wanted some confirmation. Flights are booked. Now to decide where I want to stay.

I am taking a friend with me. She has ony been one time about 10 years ago when her daughter was little. She came down with the flu and didn't enjoy any of it. Time to show her the fun side of Disney.
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.
