Default WDW over Valentine's/Presidents Day weekend

Hey Everyone, We're planning a quick trip to WDW over the holiday weekend this upcoming February. We did this a few years ago and for the most part it was crazy busy. Any thoughts on a plan? What parks are the busiest and on what days? We could push our visit into the next week, so we do have some options.

Thanks for all your expert help!

Typically, Presidents' Day Weekend is a very busy time to visit and all parks will be quite busy regardless of which day you choose to visit which park. I'd suggest visiting the week after which is a bit less busy though the period beginning with Presidents' Day through Easter is all part of the spring break season.

Agreed - President's Day weekend can get a little crazy. As you mention, the combination of the long weekend and Valentine's Day - also, remember that weekend is the Daytona race weekend, so some folks will do race/Disney in the same trip. If you wait until the following week, keep in mind Mardi Gras in 2/25/20. It's probably not as bad as President's Day, but we've also seen Mardi Gras time at Disney to be quite busy - especially at EPCOT with the drinking available with the festivals.

We have been there for President's Day weekend twice and boy was it crowded with the Magic Kingdom being particularly busy. The last time was 5 or 6 years ago and we decided we would never do that again. If you can find another week...ANY other week...I would recommend it.
Y?...Because we like you! />First visit in 1971, too many to list since! Old Key West, Port Orleans, Dixie Landings, Caribbean Beach, Boardwalk Inn, Coronado Springs, Yacht Club, Beach Club, Swan, Dolphin. Making plans for the Beach Club and Food & Wine for November '19!

It sounds like the plan should be to push your trip into the next week :p

If you have to go that weekend, though ... As always, parks with Magic Hours will be the most crowded that day, particularly in the afternoon -- and there are several magic hour events scheduled that weekend - so plan around them. If you can get park hoppers, you can take advantage of the magic hours and switch parks before or after the magic hours to avoid crowds.

If you can extend your trip to include a park on Tuesday, or come early and go on Thursday, those would be less busy days that you could take advantage of.

And of course, the middle of the day is the most busy. So if you can do super early mornings and super late nights, with naps or breaks in the hotel in the middle of the day, you might avoid the worst of the crowds. If you book an early breakfast in the park, you can also get early to the big-crowd rides.

All other crowd-avoidance advice applies, but I'd say you're already one step ahead because you've been there, done that. So you can just accept that there are going to be crowds and sit back, relax, and enjoy the world despite it!
