Exclamation New Rivers of Light Show Debuts Summer 2019

Disney's Animal Kingdom has announced a new version of Rivers of Light to begin with the kick-off to their 2019 Summer Season:

I actually really like the show. I think some find it less interesting because of the lack of fireworks, due to the animals. I find it interesting and relaxing with the lights, music, and projections. I also like the fact that you can sit to enjoy it, unlike most of the other shows like this around Disney (except Fantasmic).

I do find it odd that they feel the need to move to a new show already, though. If you recall, it was very delayed starting in the first place. And now after only a couple years of running, they're changing it. If it improves it, go for it!

My daughter LOVES this show, so we're excited to see the new one.

I agree that many people find it "boring" since there are no fireworks. We find the music moving, the projections are awesome, and I love that it happens in a "stadium", so there is seating.

I don't mind the lack of fireworks. I don't like the music. I'm really over the projections on water thing, and the people that walk out into the crowd creep me out. The animal floats are cute, but if there's supposed to be a story in the show, it is lost to me.

WE enjoyed this show, and I absolutely love the music, as well as the floats.

I actually wish they would bring back the parade, which we also enjoyed.

We truly love this show. I really enjoy watching the animals come into the tree of life prior to the start of the show. I hope the changes are improvements bc, this show was the only one this past trip that my son asked to see again.
