    Default Pre-New Years trip?

I've never been to WDW around a hoilday, so I was wondering if it was going to be insanely crowded this weekend (Jan 28-29, Sat and Sun)? I imagine it will be. Thanks for any advice.

Did you mean December 28-29? If so, yes, it will be insanely crowded for the holiday.

Those are some of the busiest days of the year. It will be absolutely packed with wait times exceeding 3 hours for the popular and newer rides.

We were at the Magic Kingdom a few days after the 1st of January and it was still extremely crowded - even It's A Small World had a standby wait time of just under an hour. The standby line for Haunted Mansion stretched around the corner and back to the entrance of the paddle boat.
