Default Party of 1 Day 3: The tradition continues

Wednesday. Cereal in room again. Stepped out the hotel door to be greeted by cool temps in the high 40s. I was dressed in jeans, long sleeve shirt, and a light jacket. AK bus came after a cool 15 minute wait. The bus sign monitor doesn't always show the time of arrival to resort. At AK the entry line was about a 5 minute wait to enter. After entering I took my time and looked into the animal areas at the front of the park that most folk scurry by as they head for the attractions. It was about 8:30 and my safari fastpass wasn't until 9:30. I checked out the discovery island trail which I don't recall ever doing before. Took photos of 3 porcupines eating their breakfast which had just been left out for them. Safari ride had several close up encounters with animals. I went to the Up with bird show using standby line. The show has been made more kid friendly with characters who were not funny to me. I liked the prior version better. I then checked fastpass to see what else I could get and was surprised by a time for Pandora flight of passage being available. I took the 12 pm slot and had lunch at flame tree at 11 before going to Pandora. People still feed the birds despite a sign being right over the table saying not to. Pandora ride was great. My second time riding it. At a gift store I found my spouse the Minnie sleeping lounge outfit she's wanted. Christmas shopping complete! I used my prior fastpass reservation and saw finding nemo. 4:15 dinner reservation at yak & yeti. stopped for a cocktail before dinner then found a spot in Sun to stay warm.yak & yeti was good good. I had the cod entree. Afterwards I picked up my spouse's gift at front of park and returned to the top. To drop it off. Weather had gotten a little warmer with the clear blue sky. Went over to HS in search of sweets. My old fudge and cookie store was no longer there! Where did it move to? While wandering around looming for sweets, I rode star tours as it was a walk on ride by 6 pm. I walked thru toy land to see what it looked like. It was dark by then but the Christmas decorations were well done. Speaking of lights HS has done a good job making up for the loss of the old lights on new York street. The light show on the tower of terror works well along with the fake snow. I then took a bus over to MK IN pursuit of Christmas ornament. Nothing new there in the Christmas store. I remembered there were cookies in tuneland and stopped over prior to the start of the late fireworks show. My frrt were tired as i made it back to the hotel aroubd 8:45. Many dance cheer groups are here so it is a noisy resort. I'm sure this will be my last time staying here. It's fine for families who want to save money.

Are you referring to the Writers' Stop in the Studios? That's been closed for a while and is now the Baseline Tap House. Congrats on the last minute Pandora fastpass!!

3 parks in one day. No wonder your feet hurt, and you were tired.
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.
