Character Change-Up

Pirates are out and Vampires are in… at least in Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Disney Junior Meet & Greet area replaced the Jake meet & greet with a new Vampirina meet and greet at the end of October. The new meet and greet is operating intermittently from 9:30 am – 6:30 pm daily.

A D-Luxe Breakfast

D-Lux Burger in the Town Center section of Disney Springs has recently introduced a new breakfast menu. The menu features a Classic Breakfast Burger, Chicken Biscuit, Fries and more. The breakfast menu is initially being introduced as seasonal and is set to be available through January 1, 2019.

Like a Phoenix, err Dragon

Magic Kingdom Cast have reported that the Maleficent Dragon float is likely to return soon to the Festival of Fantasy parade. The float has reportedly been used during rehearsals earlier this month. It has not been reported if the fire breathing effect will return or if it has been removed due to the accident in May 2018 which led to its current hiatus.

More Memories

Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories store in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs has recently expanded. The shop has expanded into the adjacent area formerly occupied by the Hane’s Design-A-Tee store. Initial reports of the expanded store are that the merchandise is primarily unchanged.

An island by any other name …

Guests to Disney’s Caribbean Beach resort may notice more changes than just the re-imagined Old Port Royale. Guests looking for their room in the Trinidad North or Trinidad South sections will have a hard time finding them as both of these ‘villages’ have been re-named. Trinidad South has been renamed Barbados while Trinidad North is now just Trinidad. The original Barbados section was demolished as part of the construction of Disney's Riviera resort.
