Joining Disney's Hollywood Studios, Cast at Disney's Animal Kingdom have reported operational reductions at several attractions:


  • Kilimanjaro Safaris will close at 7:45 pm now through the end of October.
  • Kilimanjaro Safaris will close at 6:30 pm beginning in November.
  • Kali River Rapids is now operating reduced hours from 9:30 am - 7:30 pm.
  • Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail is now operating reduced hours from 9:30 am - 4:30pm.
  • Maharajah Jungle trek is now operating reduced hours from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.


The reduced operating hours are expected to last through the end of 2018.

No change in the overall park hours are currently expected.
