    Default 2019 Trip Booked

It has been quite a wild since my last post, but I am happy to report that I just booked my 2019 Walt Disney World vacation. I am so excited to see all the new stuff. We haven’t been there since 2015. I can’t wait to see Pandora, Toy Story Land, as well as a glimpse of the new, upcoming, Star Wars Land. So excited!!!

August 2019. This will be our first summer trip to WDW. We always go off-peak. Not sure about crowds, but daughter is in high school and can’t take off for extended trip.

We've gone end of August the last two trips and it's worked out really well crowd-wise!

We're booking our bounceback for late August when we are there this weekend. Our experience has been lighter crowds. We do try to schedule at least one resort/pool day on Saturday when the local crowd is a bit more. Have fun! I'm so excited for you!!

One of our favorite things is to begin planning a "walk-through" of the vacation. We all agree we need a pool day on Saturday as the locals will probably have the parks crowded.

Are theme parks or water parks more crowded on Summer weekends?

We don't do the water parks often as my son has sensory issues, but I would assume that especially at the end of August the water parks would be crowded. You can research crowd calendars to see what they suggest. I use Undercover Tourist. Good luck... We'll be there from 8/20-8/27. The bounce back was free dining!!!
