    Default AP benefit?

Planning a trip for 4 adults and one 14yr old - December 2019. Waiting to get more info about when all the new Star Wars will be open. Hope to plan a deluxe resort. We want to leave the day the college kids take their last exam - Should be around Dec13. Staying 8 or 9 days. Would it be of any benefit for me to by one AP to book and get the discounts? If so, what would they be? Wish I knew more about Star Wars dates also.
Thank you in advance for the tips!!

It's really a guess that far out, but I'd probably lean to there not being much benefit to one of you buying an AP.
    - While there are AP hotel discounts, those same hotel packages usually end up being released to the public
    - The AP / general public hotel discounts have become more and more limited (i.e. they're advertised, but the number of rooms per resort are extremely limited) because Disney is having no trouble attracting guests right now.
    - The time range you're looking out is approaching / entering their busy Christmas season anyway, which further limits the discount availability.

Maybe the economy slows down before then and more discounts are available, but I don't think there's any reason to rush out and get an AP anytime soon unless you're certain you'll be making enough trips for the ticket aspect only of it to save you money.
