Question Question about Fastpass with different types of passes.

We’re travelling with a large group in December. Some have Annual Passes and are not staying on property, some have length of stay passes with resort reservations. Once the entire group is linked together on MDE can one of the AP holders make fast passes at the 60 day mark or does it have to be the person managing the resort stay for the rest of the family?

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Those not staying on property will not be able to make (or have someone make) fastpasses until they reach the 30 day mark. Once everyone who is staying on property has tickets that are linked together, someone in the on-property group can make fastpasses at the 60 day mark for everyone staying on property. Everyone must give permission to the person making fastpasses for the group to be able to make fastpasses for everyone.

Linda, I believe this is old information. It's been possible to do for at least a couple of years. Under certain conditions.

If a group is comprised of both onsite and offsite guests and they are all connected together on MDE, then the onsite visitor who controls the onsite reservation CAN make FP for the offsite guests at 60 days AS LONG AS there is at least one onsite person included in the group getting the FP. The thought behind this is to allow onsite guests to have local friends or family join them during their stay.

The onsite guest cannot make a FP at 60 days for the offsite guests by themselves, though. That would
still be limited to the 30 day window.

Thanks very much for the clarification. This all makes sense.
