    Default August 2018 Pre-Trip

My wife and I are going from August 18th to August 24th to celebrate our 15th anniversary. We’ll be driving down from NJ and staying at Pop Century.

Day 1 will be check in day with no plans at the parks. We are going to hang out at the hotel, eat at the food court, and relax around the resort.

Sunday will be our first park day at Hollywood Studios in the morning to check out Toy Story Land. We have an ADR at Be Our Guest for dinner and will spend the evening in the Magic Kingdom. We plan to catch Happily Ever After.

Day 3 we plan to hit Epcot in the morning then head over to Boma for dinner. Evening plans are to go to Pandora at night and watch the Rivers of Light.

Tuesday we’ll take a morning break from the parks and head to Disney Springs to shop and have lunch at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’. Then we’ll head to Epcot with plans to watch Illuminations.

Day 4 we’ll be at Animal Kingdom with a FP+ for Flight of Passage. For dinner, we have ADRs at Skipper Canteen and we’ll spend the evening at the Magic Kingdom.

Our final day, we’ll head back to the Magic Kingdom. Then for our evening plans, we’ll have dinner at Mama Melrose at Hollywood Studios and then wrap up our trip with Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular.

All of our ADRs are at places we haven’t eaten at. And we’ll have more firsts for us like Pandora, Toy Story Land, Happily Ever After, and Rivers of Light. Outside of ADRs and FP+, we are going to take it slow and just enjoy the atmosphere, and catch some live entertainment.

Happy anniversary!! What a lovely way to celebrate!! And...you've got some great plans!! By the way, we had lunch at Art Smith's for the first time a week or so ago and really enjoyed it. It's definitely on our list for a return trip!!

I will be at Pop Century the 20th-24th with my brother. It will be a different trip for me because he isn’t that interested in park time and doesn’t want to go to parks except one day. So for the 2 full days he will be there one day we are going to Kona and Olivia’s to eat and do some resort hopping. Then on Friday will be our Animal Kingdom day. I thought he might enjoy that park and new attractions. On the days he won’t be with me I am doing a lot of park hopping with my annual pass and taking advantage of the early opening and late closing at the studios.
