Default Annual passes for Florida residents?

We are new Florida residents and looking to purchase annual passes. My question is how much are the passes discounted? I cant find info on this. Is it worth it? Does it save you money on resort rooms? Can you use both the annual pass holder and resident discounts together? We plan on taking 2 4-day trips and one 8-day trip a year, do you think it is worth to purchase the lower level annual pass? Thank you for any advice you can give.

Our very first passes (2004) were annual with no block out dates. The price went up, and my husband wasn't using his enough, so we downgraded to a seasonal pass. For the last 6 years or so we've gotten the weekday select pass (however, I do homeschool so I have lots of flexibility).

The Disney website gives the costs of FL resident tickets. Under the Parks & Ticket tabs, click on Florida Residents.

Having a pass will sometimes allow you to receive a pass holder discount on rooms. I've found that discount is generally the same as FL resident discounts, which in turn, generally becomes a public offering.

Disney does not allow you to stack discounts. For example, if you chose a Free Dining package, you can not also get a room discount for that same reservation. Neither can you have a Passholder and FL resident discount on the same reservation.

Having a pass (regardless of tier) allows you to receive all passholder discounts (i.e. room, merchandise, dining, tours etc).
