Thanks for the quick replies. I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't a scam of some sort - or once you try to buy them you need to jump through all kinds of hoops.
Don't have a Target credit card, but haven't heard a lot of people saying you can get gift cards that way.
I get mine ($500 card) from Sam's with the discount and have no problem with them.
I've noticed since the increase in the $500 card the $150 packs have a slightly better savings.
If using either BJ's or Sam's be sure to check your cc cash back bonuses to get the most bang for your buck.
For example Chase Freedom had 5% cash back on $1500 using chase pay from April-June. Since Sam's doesn't take ChasePay I bought Walmart gift cards online 5% discount and then used them at Sam's online. Jan-Mar was 5% cash back w/Discover on $1500 but my sons' each have a card they opened in college and I have mine so the was 5% off $4500. Total savings to date for 2018 is about $675.
Last year I would get $1000 worth of gift cards from BJ’s and use my Disney credit card. That way I got 5 percent plus the bonus on the Disney credit card. I used those gift cards to pay for meals. Not a member of BJ’s now but the little extra savings was nice.
