Default Back to Disney - Our Second Day in MK

We spent this past Thursday in MK. We tried to keep a reasonable pace, my DH feeling a lot better but not wanting aggravate his ankle in any way. We took the Minnie Van to MK, which allowed us to keep a slow pace in the morning and still arrive in time for our first FP. We made it to our first FP, the Dumbo ride. It was great, sitting back high in the sky listening to a fabulous jazzy rendition of "Be Our Guest" by a brass band down below. I could have ridden and listened forever! We then headed for our ADR at Livery Tree Tavern having decided to make another family happy and change our plans from the BOG lunch. We enjoyed the Castle at a dinner earlier in the week and my husband really likes Liberty Tree so there you have it, lol! My salad with cranberries and nuts was delicious, and he liked his pot roast very much. Along the way we chatted with the town crier and met a wandering photo pass photographer who gave us a mini picture taking session on a stoop with rocking chairs. After lunch we thoroughly enjoyed the Muppets rendition of The Declaration of Independence, went on our Peter Pan Fast Pass, and enjoyed the Philharmagic show. My DH then went with my younger son to use his DAS ticket (we were given paper tickets since the system was down) to ride Barnstormer which ended up being his absolute favorite ride of the week! We grabbed another FP for Buzz Lightyear and eantvto Monster Laugh floor. Wow what a full afternoon! We then took the monorail to the Polynesian resort where we had a fabulous Ohana dinner. This was our first time dining there and it was incredible!!! We toured the resort, shared our second Dole Whip of the day (there should be a law against this!!!) And headed home to AKL on another Minnie Van. We all had a good night's sleep!
