Default Rainforest Cafe or Planet Hollywood???

We are trying to decide between these two restaurants. What do you guys like better?? We have been to Rainforest before but its been a while. We have not been to Planet Hollywood and we do not have either of these restaurants at home.

We like both! Both are good for casual, affordable (Disney affordable) dining. Both tend to be a little loud. PH just got an upgrade in the last year or so. I haven't been back since but DW and kids have and gave it good reviews. We love the Capt'n Crunch Chicken at PH. Good luck!

The loudest place I have ever been to was T-Rex. We did not like that place at all. The food was terrible and you could not hear each other talk. Rainforest is loud but nothing like T-Rex. Thanks for the info.

I hate Rainforest Cafe. We have been to three of them and the food was bad to mediocre at all three. Just an FYI, Landry's owns both Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex and the food it pretty comparable along with the atmosphere. If it were me, I would pick Planet Hollywood. I haven't been back there since they did the remodel but the food was okay the couple of times we have been there. It is nothing special, more or less typical of your tourist trap type restaurant.

Either way, highly mediocre food. Both loud. Not Hard Rock loud, but loud. Do want a dinosaur motiff or movie is really the difference to consider. Other than that, about the same.

Both places are crazy loud. The remodel at PH upped the loud factor to the point we would only go back if we could get outdoor seating. Love their Hollywood Bowl salad though.

Thanks everyone!! I think we are gonna try PH and see what it is like. We always like to try new places and even though I see this is not some people's cup of tea I guess we have to try for ourselves. Just like so many people love Boma and we hated it.
