Kids Meal question

It's been awhile - but sometimes I prefer to choose from the Kids Meal instead of the Adult meal -( I hate to waste food and the Kids meal is more size appropriate for me) - is it still ok to do this at the Resort food courts and through out WDW? TIA

They don't ask who you are buying the food for anyway so you can do whatever you want

I do it all the time, not a problem. I physically can't eat more than is in a kids meal. If I get an adult meal I can get one or two extra meals out of it. Depending on what I get.
