Default Beach Club and Yacht Club

We planned a trip for 4 nites at Yacht Club. We decided to come early and booked 3 nites at Beach Club ( Yacht Club was totally booked for those extra 3 nites). Having stayed at neither before, we are very excited to try them both. Has anyone done both in the same trip? Should the switch over day go smoothly? We normally stay at AKL so this will be quite different. Any suggestions or advice will be welcomed

Hope you have a great time! I've never stayed at both of these properties on the same trip, but the switch over days I've experienced elsewhere have gone fine. The resorts will transfer your luggage for you but in this case, since you only have to walk a couple hundred yards, you can just do it yourself!

We really love the Beach Club and I think you'll love the location. AKL is great, but being able to walk to so much from the Boardwalk resorts is fantastic. In and out of Epcot quickly. Walk or boat to/from HS. Making your way over to the Boardwalk Bakery for breakfast. Or lunch...or a late-night snack. Ample Hills!! Make sure you get to Ample Hills. And if it's your thing, you can rent a surrey bike and do a few laps around the Boardwalk. We just love the feel and vibe of this area - it's the opposite of AKL, but just as good in a different way.

And of course, there's Stormalong Bay.

We have stayed at both and really enjoyed both. We preferred Yacht slightly because it felt quieter. But both are amazing resorts.

Hi I have no information about either hotel but please note you will be without a room once you check out of the Beach Club until the new room is ready. I'm just mentioning it because I like to go back to the room in the middle of the day so when we've been in this situation we've asked for late check out and luckily have gotten it. Have a wonderful trip, 3 extra days will be awesome!

Good point. OP, before you check out of BC, you can head over the YC and ask if by chance your room is ready. Might get lucky. We have in the past.
