    Default Working for the Mouse

Wasn't exactly sure where the best place to post this was...

We are doing some early retirement planning and hoping to close down our company and relocate to FL in the next 4 years. Hubby who is significantly older would retire and I would be looking for work around 30 hours a week just to help with health insurance which will honestly be our biggest expense in retirement.

So my question is this...would working at WDW for 30 or so hours a week provide any health coverage? If so do they offer spouse coverage at a cost?

I know the pay isn't great and I'm even ok with doing pretty much anything knowing that the money I make will pretty much only be to cover health insurance and then any employee perks would just be the bonus for me since we would probably still visit often.

    Thoughts?

They do offer health insurance to part time employees after a certain amount of time(the number of days employed escapes me right now). I do not know about coverage for a spouse. There are some pages on FB for cast members that would have more of this info. Might join one of them
