Meet of Tomorrow?

Guest and Character Cast reports have indicated that a new Stitch Meet & Greet has opened in the former Stitch’s Great Escape location. The meet & greet is being conducted in the former pre-show area.

A Seasonal Attraction at the Magic Kingdom appears to have been replaced without re-opening for seasonal operation. The marquee for Stitch’s Great Escape in the Tommorowland section of the park has been updated to “Stitch’s Alien Encounter Character Greeting”. While this new attraction may be merely a new Character Meet & Greet location for Stitch; its name is also very similar to the Stitch Encounter interactive character attraction currently at 3 International Disney Parks.

Shopping Shakeup

D-Living in Disney Springs is ready to rotate its décor and merchandise. To facilitate the face lift, the store will be closed October 9th with a “November” re-opening. If the store follows the rotation from its first year; it should be expected that the next selection will be the store’s “Holiday” selection.

A New Do

Salon by the Springs has opened at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. The new pool-side salon opened in the space of the former Trout Pass Pool Bar. The current operating hours are 9:00 am till 4:30 pm daily.

A Cure For what Ales You

As the Yacht club transitions to its new restaurant line-up, there may be a short gap in its offerings. The Captain's Grille has closed in its temporary location prior to the opening of its Ale & Compass Restaurant replacement. During this unannounced gap, Guests may find casual Breakfast & Lunch dining options at the Yachtsman Steakhouse and some additional dinner options at the Market at Ale & Compass. It is not clear if the previously announced “October 2017” date for the new offerings is still planned.

Disney’s Yacht Club has announced a change for its table service restaurant. Captain’s Grille has been announced to be transformed into the Ale & Compass Restaurant completing a trifecta with the new Market at Ale & Compass and a soon to be expanded Ale & Compass Lounge. The new restaurant has been announced to feature New England-inspired comfort food with a gastropub ambience. The new restaurant and expanded lounge are set to open in October 2017.

An Epcot attraction is offering a new souvenir keepsake. After experiencing the Test Track attraction, Guests can now purchase a memento of their car design. Priced at $7.45, Guests can take home a small card featuring a picture of their custom designed car.

A Boat Show

The Walt Disney World resort has announced the return of Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparking Dessert Cruise. The nighttime entertainment offering is set to return December 1, 2017 and will be priced at is $99 per Guest Ages 10 and Up and $69 per Guests Ages 3-9 (including tax and gratuity). The fireworks viewing cruise will be offered Fridays and Sundays beginning 75 minutes prior to the start of Happily Ever After fireworks.
