Is that $20 per person? I'm not sure I can justify paying for one more thing at WDW! Already getting too expensive

No, $20 for up to 6 passengers. It's per vehicle. Flat rate.

I do like this idea for times you are running late for a reservation or event and can't rely on Disney Transportation to get you there on time.

So it is a flat rate of $20 for up to 6 PPL?
I assume it goes anywhere on Property?
$20 for a lift from point A to point B, from one end of the property all the way to the other end?
    Do you tip the drivers?

Does anyone know if it will be like other ride sharing when you can call up a "Minnie Van" or will there be designated pickup areas like taxi waiting areas at resorts, parks, etc?

I wonder if it'll take you to that gas station on property? Aside from how dorky that looks, pretty useful idea. If it turns out to be like Disney Uber, that would be pretty nifty. Wish you could use it to make runs offsite, but still nice if you want to spend a few extra bucks for quicker speed to something.

Just checked some of my receipts from earlier this year
    WL-Poly $5.85
    WL-GF $5.85
    Swan-VGF (Uber XL) $10.88
    BW-VGF $7.63
    WL-Universal $15.25
    Universal-WL $18.69

For smaller parties Uber/Lyft will still be the way to go but for larger parties w/little ones needing car seats this may work.

I realize they won't go to Universal but just put that in there as a cost/distance reference.

That does seem to be a pretty big price difference.

We paid $9.65 GF-Typhoon Lagoon on Uber X (not XL) last August. That same trip right now is priced at $18.96 on Uber XL, and if you want a car seat, it's $26.95.

So, I think Disney's pricing for this service is fair.

One advantage for travel to MK is that it will take you to where the Disney buses drop off at the front gate and not the Transportation and ticket center.

Could driverless cars on property be that far behind?

I should think this would be a natural progression.

I think I saw they were testing that. But as often as Space Mountain or Buzz breaks down, I don't know if I want to get into one of their auto cars.

I'm wondering, since I'm reading this service is run through the Lyft app, if my Lyft credits can be used for the Minnie Van?
