Was wondering about crowds 9/2/17 thru 9/11/17 during this time frame, I know alot of states are back in school but what should I exspect? We were planning on just hanging out at thr resort pool on the 4th figured holiday would be packed.
I was there during this time frame last year. The holiday weekend was a little busy. After that it was fairly quiet. There were still lines for the top rides but not huge wait times. It was very hot and humid with a bunch of rain. Weekends at EPCOT are still very busy with Food & Wine Festival.
This is my favorite time to go to WDW. I usually check in on Sunday of the Labor Day weekend and check out on Saturday. The crowds on Labor day at Magic Kingdom is crazy to say the least so we head to one of the other parks and they really are not that bad. The rides waits are not bad and most of the time we would walk in with as little as 10 to 15 min wait. The more popular rides could be 30 min to an Hour.
At Epcot they are starting to set up for the food and wine festival but they are doing that after park closing for the most part.
The rest of the week I would say has light to moderate crowds and on occasion if we head back to the resort for a rest we have been the only ones on the bus.
I think that you will like your time spent and not feel rushed.
Hope this helps...

Thank you for correcting me. I will be enjoying the food and wine festival the end of Oct into Nov for my granddaughters birthday.
I guess I lost sight of things since I am going later in the year...
