    Default Fireworks, Parades and Shows...

I'm travelling with 2 people who really don't have a lot of interest in the above - they are all about the rides. So I really want to do a few this time around, but want to choose the best of the best since I won't be able to drag them to many. We HAVE done Illuminations and Fantasmic years ago, and have seen the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the Cali Grill. Which do you recommend? And I've always kind of wanted to see the electric light pageant from the shore of the Poly - is that work it?

The Electric Light pageant is cute to watch. But if you are with people who are not interested in these type of things I would not pick this one. I would pick the Festival of Fantasy parade in Magic Kingdom. We have watched this man times and do not tire of it.

I'd book dinner at Rose & Crown, and view Illuminations from there, that way you get fireworks AND they have to eat anyways. The new ones in MK would be cool, just because they are new, and you've never seen them.

The water pagent is cute, but not a must do, especially for people who aren't into that.

I am definitely not a parade person, but I stopped to watch the parade at Animal Kingdom with my friends who wanted to see it one day. I really enjoyed it. (I couldn't tell you the name of it, but it was in the afternon.)
I second the idea of dinner at Rose and Crown for Illuminations. My friend and I tried that on our last trip. We had a wonderful dinner.
You could do the same thing for the electric light pageant. Plan an O'hana reservation for right after the electric light pageant. Get there a little early to watch it and then go eat dinner or vice versa.
Remember, you guys don't have to be joined at the hip even if your trip is together. I find it nice to get away to do some things on my own too.
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.
