That party is getting really pricey, in my opinion.

WOW!! Disney has certainly mastered the art of double dipping. Unbelievable that they can run this thing for what essentially is 50% of the nights in Sept/Oct. Get the regular paying customer in the morning/afternoon, then rub those greedy hands together and roll in the second wave in the evening. Scrooge McDuck would be proud.

I guess if people are fortunate enough to have unlimited funds this is a good thing, I just can't/won't drop $400+ extra for this kind of thing. The DW and I have done MVMCP a few times before kids, but again, just not worth it for the cash they take from you.

I think what bothers me the most, if we go down during MVMCP, which basically operates in the same manner, they run the thing 50% of the nights, I go on an 8 or 9 day trip and 50% of my access to the MK is taken away or limited because of these hard ticket events.

Pretty soon they'll simply end and begin each of these parties on July 4th.

    Halloween Parties in August??

That's just silly. Even September is a stretch. I guess it isn't about being exclusive, it's getting the most money. Eventually, you will be able to buy Halloween & Christmas party tickets all year round and the Food, Flower, Garden & Wine festival will also be year round. The parades will become non-existent and only the rich & elite will be able to afford any special ticketed events that should have been available to everyone. Magic is for sale, not special anymore. :-(

You're not too far off on that thought. They just added a modified version of the F&W festival to be held during the beginning of each calendar year.
