    Default Fastpass+ System Down Again

    Today is our 60 day mark, so I've been up since 7:00 trying to book fastpasses without any luck. I just went on Twitter, and I see that the entire fastpass system is down again, and people who are in the parks aren't able to access their fastpasses.

    This isn't the first time this has happened. For as much importance as this system has on folks' vacations, you would think they would have a good contingency plan in place, but apparently not.

    Sorry to hear. Hopefully they will get back up soon and you will be able to secure the fastpasses you want for your trip.

    This is one of the reasons that I print all that information and carry it with me while I am at Disney.

    I do know that WDW was upgrading systems yesterday, as I was having trouble linking a reservation to MY Disney Experience and had to call to get it linked. The CM told me they were upgrading systems, so it might be that it is off for the upgrade? She did not know how long and how many phases the upgrade was.

    Oh sheesh...I was there last May when they were upgrading their system and it made the entire computer system for all of Disney World crash. No fastpasses, no using dining plan credits, no working bands, no checking into resorts, nothing. It was a nightmare for the guests and the CMs! We were checking into SSR that day and it was at least 6 hours before we were assigned a room (which had to be done manually on paper) and it took more than 24 hours for them to get the system back online and restored. I really hope they aren't having the same issues with this upgrade!
