I'm not sure if it is good thing that I can go to a Halloween party during my August trip?

I think it is great... we are looking to go to Disney in Sept and then in November to catch the fall Christmas decorations...

MK will be transformed to fall for the Aug 25th party, not sure about the others. We were there last year through Aug 23rd and mostly all the shops had their Halloween items out.

Part of me is SUPER excited that, for my trip in October, it will be going on for all but one day of the trip (so many choices to plan around!) but part of me thinks it will make this harder for me to catch the "regular" MK fireworks, as the parks have SO MANY NEW NIGHT SHOWS for me to enjoy!

For those of you who have stayed at Disney during these weeks, I have a question I hope someone can answer. Typically, MK has evening EMH every Wednesday night. In early November, the Halloween party is scheduled for Wednesday, 11/1, and MVMCP is scheduled for Wednesday, 11/8. Will they still have a night with evening EMH hours at MK those weeks? It looks like those 2 nights are the only Wednesdays holding one of the parties - we were planning on a full MK day on 11/8, but now are trying to figure out when we might look to move it. We're not planning on doing the MVMCP, mostly because we'll have enough invested in park hoppers for the week and don't plan on the additional expense to get into the party. We'd really appreciate any thoughts on MK EMH those weeks. Thanks!
