Default What time can guests enter MK with the new welcome show at front of castle now?

I've read that they are now allowing guests inside Magic Kingdom to walk down Main Street, get some coffee, etc... prior to the official opening which is now in front of the castle instead of the train. If the park officially opens at 9am, what time are they allowing guests in? 8am? 8:30am? Just trying to plan for our trip this Fall on what time to arrive so we can take advantage of this! Anyone been there recently to comment?

    Thanks everyone!!

We went to magic kingdom in January. We had an 8 am breakfast reservation at chrystal palace. We were allowed in at 8, but others had to wait. It seemed like people were making it up main street about 20 minutes later. I hope they keep this up, it's really fun to have an early resy and get main street mostly alone.
Disney more times than I can remember.
Have stayed at Fort Wilderness, Fort Wilderness Cabins, Caribbean Beach, Dixie Landings, Port Orleans Riverside, Port Orleans French Quarter and Pop Century
