Default What do you ship to the resorts before your arrival?

I'm currently at my Day 57 and trying to get things pulled together for my upcoming solo trip with an ECV to celebrate my birthday. I've seen lots of posts about guests shipping items to their resorts. What do you ship? I'm curious to see if there is anything that I never even thought of.

We don't fly, we drive but we bring a case of bottled water, light breakfast items and snacks. Bottled water costs about $2.50 in the parks and we eat a light breakfast in the room before we head out to save money and time. The snacks are mostly for the drive because we do the dining plan and they give you plenty to eat including snacks. If you aren't on the plan might be a good idea though.

Personally, I don't ship anything to the resorts. I know those with young ones will often ship items like diapers and food. Mostly, people ship things like snacks, water, and breakfast items to help keep dining costs in line.

I have never shipped anything to the resort. With the new charge for accepting things being shipped to the resort I don't think I ever will. I use Uber to run to the store. Cheap and easy

I do not know know if it $5 per package or just per room. It started right after we were there in November. I will try and get more details from my cast member

We've started using the Garden Grocer. You can get an application for your smartphone. Prices are cheaper than having Disney "shop" for you. Delivery charge is nominal. Very convenient.

We have shipped gift baskets to our room almost every trip. Something for the kids, we say it's from MickeyA plush character animal for my little one and some goodies or a gift card for the arcade for my oldest.I have also sent some Disney pajamas for my wife. it's fun for them to have a suprise when we walk into the room.

We never ship anything either. I considered it a time or two when the kids were little because we carried so much stuff. We drive, so I just bought a roof top and rear hitch carrier for the tahoe we had at the time and packed everything into those. We go to walmart and grab some stuff for the week after we unload at the resort.

These days, there is really no reason to ship things to the resort. There are services that will get groceries or whatever items you want and bring them to the resort for you. As mentioned, you can also use uber to run to do a little shopping if you need to yourself. There are plenty of options to get it done without dealing with the hassle and expense of shipping items.

    It is $5/package, inconsistently applied.

I shipped stuff for the first time in January, before that I just brought stuff with me. It was mostly snacks. I also shipped stuff I wanted to bring home because it is way more expensive in Canada
