Annual Pass for a week visit?
I'm planning my trip next October and was wondering if the discounts on the Annual pass were better than regular discounts. We are staying at the Beach Club and will be there for a week and would like to get the park hopper. Would I come out better getting a pass or just regular park hopper tickets? Anyone have any insight?
Also was looking at the Halloween party wasn't sure if it was worth the price for 2 adults with no children.

Typically, I would recommend only getting an annual pass if the number of park days you use it for make it economically feasible. Typically, it would not be if it were only going to be used for a 1 week trip and not used again.

When we figured out if an annual pass would be a better day it worked out to be staying more than 9 days would make it worth it. That was not a problem for us as we were staying for over 14 days. So for us it was a better deal. The discounts on meals and purchases is not enough to make it a consideration of whether to get the pass or not.

I wouldn't do an AP unless you're planning on using it more than 10 days. The discounts do not make up for the cost.

If you plan to come back for another trip during the year of the pass, it will be worth it.

I would hold off on buying them until the last minute if that's what you decide to do. Typically, free dining is offered in October so you might get a package deal. The annual pass is only feasible if you use it more than once in a year's time. If you've never done the Halloween party, I'd say do it once. We enjoyed it.

I wouldn't count on October for free dining. This year there were no dates in October for that promo. August, September, November and even some dates into December, but not October.

We are planning on doing the Halloween Party this time. We went for our honeymoon and my husband had not been to Disney in 30 plus years so we skipped it last time. Thanks for all the input everyone.
