    Default Single Rider Lines

I might be hitting up UO in mid November by myself one day. Was considering getting an unlimited express pass (got that when my ex and I went back in 2014 and it was great), but then was thinking if I'm by myself, most of the rides have single rider options, I probably wouldn't need it.

Has anyone used the single rider lines? Are they on par with the wait-times with express pass? Do any of the major attractions NOT have single rider lines? Do you think I'd be OK just sticking with single rider or regular queues and forgoing the extra $$ for EP?

    Thanks!

I have gone to Universal solo a few times and have never needed the extra expense of the express pass. Most of the feature attractions have single rider lines however show attractions (like Shrek) and group loaders (like Minions) do not. Be aware that the single rider lines bypass a portion of the queue and pre-show so you may miss some really well themed areas! You are going at a relatively uncrowded time so I don't think you will have any trouble at all.
For your reference, here is a list of attractions with single rider lines:
    Universal Studios Florida:
    Transformers: The Ride
Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts
    The Simpsons Ride
    Men in Black: Alien Attack
    Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit
    Revenge of the Mummy

    Islands of Adventure:
    The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man
    Doctor Doom's Fearfall
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
    Incredible Hulk Coaster
    Reign of Kong

Oh, and one more tip, try Finnegan's in US for a break! you can just walk in and sit at the bar. Great atmosphere (and beer!)

Wells, thanks for the reply! Think I'll just stick with the single rider lines and not mess with the express pass. I've done everything before except for Kong so not worried about missing the queues (though have you been through the Kong single rider line? Does it skip a lot? I know there are some really cool elements in the queue for that one so don't want to miss those.)

Good tip re: Finnegan's. I'll keep that in mind because there will definitely be beer involved :-)

    You're welcome!
About Kong, I have not been through the single rider line yet. We have AP's that give us express entry after 4:00 so we did that and that bypassed a lot of the queue but there were occasional holes in the wall where you could get a peek at some of the regular queue elements before being sent down a long dank hallway. I suspect that the single rider line is similar. We plan on exploring the regular queue once the crowds go down. You can count on this being the longest wait you will have just because it's a new ride.
Another suggestion, try the onion potato web at Finnegan's, it's great!

I had to look up pictures of the Onion Potato Webb and yes, I will most definitely be eating one of those. Looks fantastic!

Yeah I figure Kong will be a long wait regardless, but think I'll forgo the regular queue and stick to single rider unless the wait is manageable. I've seen walk throughs of the queue and it looks great, even has animatronics in it! but not worth a long wait.

How is Kong by the way? My friend thought it was fun but said "you only need to do it once."
