I'm curious how do they address the tent campers during these storms? Anyone have experience with this?

I am not 100% certain, but seems I've read before that all campers (tents, personal campers, and cabins) are moved to WDW resort hotel rooms. My best guess is that Disney just finds available rooms and places guests where they can.

Anyone who was staying in the camp grounds have been moved into a hotel on property. This started yesterday and was finished this morning. Disney has been very busy the few days getting ready for the storm.

Yes, everyone gets evacuated from Fort Wilderness. The RVs, campers, and even Disney's cabins are really not safer than tents in a hurricane.

I can't even imagine it! We witnessed Tropical Storm Colin from a Gulf view room this June-SCARY!
Glad they relocate the FW guests, but what do they do with all the pets people travel with? Anyone know?

I would imagine in this situation that pets go with the owners. Disney already hosts a number of service animals so I don't think some added pets would be that big an issue.
