    Default Why Use the DDP When Staying at a Cabin at Fort Wilderness?

    We consider the cabins fort Wilderness to be our ‘WDW home”, We bed down the kids in the bunk beds in the bedroom while the adults make and share martinis in the main room or out on our cabin's deck,

    We like Fort Wilderness because it is a fine resort with many things to do AND it is a 10 minute boat ride to the Magic Kingdom.

    Like some other WDW properties. CaFW is a “moderate" resort and at various times each year, Disney Trawl offers a special where cabin stays include free WDW ddp for everyone in h party – though there’s usually a requirement like purchasing park hoppers.

    At our cabin, we scramble eggs and grill steaks.

    You may ask, how do cabin guests use the DDP?

    Let me answer by summarizing our free DDP Christmas Week ADRs for our next trip:
    · Princess Storybook Dining Dinner at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
    · Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner
    · Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare
    · Whispering Canyon Cafe Dinner (on our way to MMVMCP)
    · Minnie's Seasonal Dine Dinner at Hollywood & Vine
    · Be Our Guest Dinner (Christmas Eve}
    · Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review
    · Boma - Flavors of Africa Dinner
    · 'Ohana

    We did the same thing!

    We loved the cabin, and used the cooking fairly often. It was especially nice to make a "real" breakfast, and a few lunches/dinners. Although, even just having the kitchen for snacks was wonderful, our snacks were far more often fresh fruit or veggies, instead of the packaged junk we usually eat in the hotel rooms.

    But, we enjoy Disney dining as part of our trip. We have some favourite places that we just don't want to miss. So, we also took advantage of the "free DDP" and were pleased that we got the best of both worlds.

    Thanks for sharing!
