1st week january 17
Hi everyone we are limited next year to 1 to the 8 January for a vacation. Wondering what to expect or should we skip Disney this time around?. We don't want to deal with Christmas type of crowds hope your comments can help us in deciding.
Have a great day.

If most schools are resuming classes that week, you should be fine. Classes in my town resume on the 3rd.

We did the first week of January a couple of years ago, and it wasn't bad at all. It was busy, with the waning Christmas crowds and the building marathon crowds, but not crazy, and I would definitely return that week.

I went that week in January and it was less crowded compared to Disney standards. I think it's because the Disney crowd had just left. Keep in mind the marathon crowd will come, however, it won't impact the crowd levels too much because they typically only stay for a day or two. The first few days you will hear some Christmas music and see decorations, but it will go away by the 4th or 5th day.
