    Default First Trip To Disneyland

    Dear All,

My family and I are planning our first trip to the DLR.

We would like to stay within walking distance of the main gate to DL.

I am planning on a 3-day hopper w/the magic morning early access.

In doing my extensive research, there are two hotels that appeared on the radar screen.

Best Western Plus Park and Anaheim Camelot Inn.

I would appreciate your thoughts on these hotels, as well as any other recommendations of area hotels.

If there are hotels that you feel to be better that are further away from DL and provide shuttle service and accommodations, please advise.

We are a party of 5.

Thanks and have a magical day!!

    Default First Trip To Disneyland

I have never stayed at Camelot inn and don't recall many, if any, guests commenting on it.

We have stayed at BW+ Park Place many times. You just can't get easier access to the parks. The rooms are clean and quiet and have everything you need (tv, fridge, microwave, iron, and such). The furniture is somewhat dated and not necessarily a matching set in my opinion but comfortable and functional. Don't expect a view of any sort. Breakfast is included and sufficient to start your day. We have never stayed with more than three in a room so don't know about larger rooms. If a pool is important to you you might be disappointed as theirs is nothing spectacular. It is kind of small and in between the parking lot, laundry room, and vending machines. Despite the few shortcomings, we usually stay here if not on property.
