Have listened to about half so far. Just a couple comments...the cruise ships don't take 5 years to build. It's just that the shipyard is booked for other lines new ship builds so they won't be able to start the first new Disney ship until 2019, so it will be done in 2021 The ships take 2 years to build, which is why the second new Disney ship will come in 2023. It's not really possible to decide to build a ship and have it ready 2 years later. There are only so many shipyards that build cruise ships and a LONG waiting list at each.

Also, regarding size, they are both only going to be slightly larger than the Dream and Fantasy. Nothing close to Oasis class on Royal Caribbean. More like Freedom Class size. I do wonder what they will have featured on them to set them apart from the others though. Fun to speculate on that. I hope for another really innovative water/pool feature.

OK, off to listen to more!

P.S. Loved the special guest and fun to hear Justin again... He's a natural!

I think Imagination and Enchantment are great names for the two new ships.

This was a nice surprise in my podcatcher this morning. I would be interested to hear your take on the significance/impact of Tom Staggs' resignation on the next episode.

Thanks for keeping me company with another great podcast this morning, everyone! I love listening to the crew.

I am continually in awe of Christine's hair and makeup. A true Southern lady. #eyelinergoals

Yeah, I'm kind of in agreement with Justin that I don't think the $9K for the long trip that was mentioned is that bad, especially if it includes the dining plan (not that I'd get the DDP myself). $150 per person, per night is reasonable to me. That includes your lodging, your food, and your park admission. In Disney terms, that seems about right.

I pick the gray magic band because it goes with everything I will wear on the trip.
