Question Signing Up For Multiple Races

So I'm daydreaming ahead to next year's #runICOT weekend. How does it work when you want to sign up for a 5K AND a 10K (for example). When you register, do you register for one race and then have to go to the back of the line to register for the next race? Which sells out quicker? The 5K or the 10K? Do any of you have registration tips? Unfortunately I DON'T have an annual pass so I can't register early.

You register for them altogether. This past Star Wars weekend, I had to register my husband for the Rebel Challenge and the 5k. When you go to register, you basically indicate which races you want and they walk you through each registration individually, but keep all the races in your "cart" for like 15 min so you have time to fill out all the forms. Once you get in, your spots are "on hold" while you finish registering. It's very easy.

Also to answer your other question, the 5k sells out fast. The Rebel challenge sells out the fastest. You should not have a problem signing up for the 5 and 10k. That's my plan as well.

I'll be glad to see what people come up with because I'm in the same boat. I registered my daughter and I for the Half Marathon and by the time I was done, the 5K and 10K were sold out. I'm doing the Dopey in '17 so I should be o.k. there. Looking forward to feedback on this.

Generally speaking (at least for Disney World Races) - I always register for the shortest races first, then go back and do them in increasing length.

    5k's sell out quickest

My only additional advice is which one is more important to you? The 5K or the 10K? I prefer the 10K because of the bling so I usually register for that first, then I would do the 5 then the longer races. As Natalie said challenges sell fast so if you ever want the challenge do that first.

Thanks for the advice! I definitely want to do the 5K with my DD, but I'm still on the fence about also doing the 10K. We'll see if Buttercup twists my arm to do that one...I don't think it'll be too hard to twist though. LOL!
