Default Autipia with 4 kids and two adults

We will be there with four kids and two adults next trip. The kids are 9,9, 6 and 5. And the only ride I think we might have an issue is Autopia because none of the kids are tall enough to drive without an adult. How do we do this? Do we have to go one car at a time?

Each car will easily hold 2 people. You can possibly squeeze a tiny third person in. With only 2 adults, you'll be doing some juggling. Maybe one adult can do Tomorrowland Speedway while the other does Tea Cups or TTA next door until everyone has a chance to drive.

They will not allow 3 in the cars because of the seat belt configuration. I used to have to skip this ride at DL when I would take my little boys solo.

Are you asking about *Autopia* - at DisneyLAND - or, *Tomorrowland Speedway*, at Walt Disney World? Two *totally* different attractions...

As a former Speedway Cast Member (and still have friends that work the attraction), you can fit one adult and two kids in one vehicle. I would suggest one older child and one younger child with each adult. The seat belt actually just goes across the whole car (unless it's changed since Sep '14...)

The 54" requirement is to *ride alone*, so that the child can easily reach the pedal.

Each child can have a lap behind the wheel as long as an adult is with them to work the gas pedal. The way this works is, you need to inform the grouper (when you get to the bottom of the ramp just before you load) that each child wants a turn to drive. You should be offered the "driver swap". Cast Members will attach a "flag" to your race car, indicating such. After you come around for the first lap, with one child driving, you'll stop your car, and the Cast Member will then allow you to swap drivers. You don't even have to get out of the car(s).

Also ask for "side-by-side" lanes so that the six of you can "race" each other.

Have you ever dreamed the dreams of the children...?

Oh, I answered based on Disneyland's Autopia.

Sorry forgot the there was a name change at the different parks. And thanks that information is great. This is the only ride in all the parks I wasn't sure how we were going to do.
