I went to the MK today solo. I was on a quick trip since DD was at school. Went to have lunch at Columbia Harbor House for the first time. There was nobody in line behind me and I was chatting with the CM at the register. I mentioned that I could smell the clam chowder and how good it smelled. That kind CM went up to the counter and asked for a bowl of soup. That was so nice.
Loved CHH....will have to go back there.

I had to pass on some magic to another guest. I had a DAS for the mine train. When I got to the attraction, I overheard the dad saying to his family that the wait was too long. I asked how many in his group...he said 5. Perfect, they joined me for a ride. They got to ride and I didn't have to ride alone. I loved making a bit of magic for someone else.

Do you / how do you pass the magic along post old FP system?

Not exactly the purpose of a DAS but nice gesture. I don't think everyone else in line without a DAS minded waiting a little extra.

We pass the magic along by, when we are leaving, giving out our "not traded" "extra" pins to kids we see without pins. We ask the parents if it's ok and usually they appreciate it. Usually we have a few options in our hands and the kid can pick.

Nice story of paying it forward, Marci!

Columbia Harbor House is one of my favorites. A hidden gem.
