That doesn't take away from the fact that Disney World is finding ways to introduce certain Marvel characters into the parks.
We are all aware of their limitations, so it's nice to see that they are introducing certain characters when they can.
As I said in the first post, I hope it's a sign of something bigger down the line regarding Marvel and the parks.
Notice they aren't being promoted as Marvel characters... Because they cannot be... Also, that preview in DHS was supposed to be in Eo's theater with the moving/vibrating seats and effects... But then, that would have made it an attraction, and that's a no no...
And also, there is a list of characters which are completely off limits... I believe the list is out there (not the contract we are pretty familiar with, but another legal document with all the characters)... The Guardians are not included on that list...
Believe me, this isn't a huge deal or proof Disney is trying to push the bounds of anything... Their high powered lawyers, and Comcast's high powered lawyers are watching... Disney won't do anything stupid which will embarrass them in arbitration... Disney is simply doing what legally they can...
Son of Jor-El.. Kneel before Zod...
TRICIA JONES: I heard that you were going to propose to Brandi Svenning at some theme park. When are men going to learn that women want ROMANCE, not Mr. Toad's Wild Ride...
BRODIE: Hey, now, be fair. EVERYONE wants Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

But it's proof that they want marvel characters in the parks and they are doing exactly that.
