    Default Opinions on crowd level...

Looking toward planning for a trip next spring during the F&G Festival. These are the two options of dates I'm looking at, keeping in mind that Easter is early (April 5). Would either one be any better in the crowd dept.?

    April 8-17
    April 29-May 8

Both are 10 days, both starting on a Wednesday and ending on a Friday.

If it were me, I would take the later dates, I believe that there might be less Spring Breakers, then.

April 5 is Easter next year so the week of April 8 will be slammed.

Further away from Easter, the better. Plus, you may hit the first Star Wars weekend , if that interests you.

Generally SWW are the last 2 weekends in May. Last 3 this year, but either way May 8 wouldn't make the cut.

We have always gone in early/mid May and have always felt like the crowds were manageable. I would happily go again in that time frame but I also attribute this to the fact that we are super smart about our FP use and we plan wisely. I love the F&G festival.
Next trip - Sep29-Oct4! Free QS dining at POP. First trip with both kids. (6th total visit)

I know I went later in May last year (returning just prior to Memorial Day) and things were getting super busy by the end. This will be our first trip since the intro of FP+, so I'm trying to pick the most manageable crowd time so that we won't feel pressured to overplan, which is completely the opposite of how we like to do WDW.

We have always used some FP, but prefer to just fly by the seat of our pants for most things.

Just came back from Disney at what has always been a very manageable time of the year for us in the past. I thought the parks - particularly the Magic Kingdom were mobbed!! It literally was hard to get from area to area due to all the people there. Epcot was much more manageable but, still, what we experienced this year has me wondering if I need to reconsider traveling at this time of year.
