    Default Take phone on rollercoaster

I know you can't take bags on the rollercoasters as IoA, but will they let you hold your phone if you don't have a pocket for it?

No they don't want any loose items that can potently fly up and hit you or someone else. If you don't have a friend with a pocket then it will have to go in a locker.

Get a Flip Belt. Great way to hold a phone and other small items securely when you don't have pockets.

I have a small fannypack that I plan on wearing, so it shouldn't be a problem. I've heard mixed reviews on being able and not being able to wear a fannypack. I think I'll take my chances.

If they can see your fannypack, they will make you take it off.

I just wear pants/shorts with pockets. Problem solved.
You can't ride any coasters with something in your hands. You'd be likely to drop it and then imagine the hassle getting it back, even if it wasn't broken. Not to mention the risk of it injuring someone else.

When I go on roller coasters, I always make sure to have a safety pin on my key chain and pin it inside of a deep pocket. Coaster love to empty stuff (coins, guide maps, wallets) out of pockets.

I usually wear cargo shorts with velcro. Keeps things nice and snug, even on the widest rides.

DH and DS will be wearing these, so they might be the phone holders of our trip during wild rides.
