Question Q re: new FP+ policy & ressies for park hoppers

    Hi!

Does anyone have the low-down on how it will work when you make your FP+ reservations for more than one park in the same day?? Do your tickets have to currently be Park Hoppers?

The reason I ask - we are surprising our girls with a 3 night stay at AKL this summer, and the decision was a bit of a financial surprise for us, as well, as we usually save up for these trips, and just decided on this not too long ago. So - we purchased the package with single park passes, planning to upgrade to Hoppers when we arrive, just to spread out the cost a bit.

But that has me wondering whether or not I will be able to make ressies at more than one park in one day next month - whether or not the reservation system will know the difference in tickets and force me to keep all my ressies in one park.

(We are planning on AK for the 1st half of the day, DHS for the 2nd half... I'd like to book EE at AK in the morning, but then book TSM and RnRc in the afternoon at DHS.)

    Thoughts??

    Default FP+ ressies

The way I understand it, you can still only have 3 FP+ ressies in one park, then after you use those 3 FP+ ressies you can go to a kiosk in another park and get an additional pass for that park.

Once that 4th one is used, then you can get another one. I don't believe you can make ressies in different parks.

    That's my understanding too!

Correct. Your first 3 FP+ are at one park. Any additional FP times (after you have used your first 3 FP+ reservations) can be obtained at any park if you have parkhopping privledges. You cannot pre-book FP+ ressies beyond the initial 3 at only one park.

So, you could not book your EE at AK in the morning, and then book TSM and RnRc in the afternoon at DHS. You can try to obtain additional FP+ at DHS after you use your first 3 at AK.

Personally, I would do rope drop at AK and do stand by or single rider for EE, and use my FP+ choices for my afternoon rides at DHS.

Thanks everyone! I thought the new policy allowed the park hopping options when you picked your 1st 3... glad to know beforehand I was looking at it wrong!

That's what I was thinking, if I had to wait... our rides at DHS trump EE.

Yeah, I just picked my FP+ selections yesterday at 60 days and it will only allow you to select one park per day.
