2014 1/2 Marathon - 1st timer

2014 marks my first EVER 13.1 race and happy to be doing so at Disney. Most of my Disney trips revolve(d) around going to watch family and friends run the full marathon. I can't wait to finally be one of those people walking around the parks with my medal, limping, drinking a beer and overall, feeling magical.

After all my time on Intercot, I completely forgot this board even existed. It'll be great to get advise, see that other people are running, too.

Anyone else out there a first timer?

PS - Me and group will be dressing up as Alice in Wonderland characters. I pulled the White Rabbit straw.

I am signed up for the 5K because me and my husband wanted to do something together. Then the 10K and half were opened up to me because my training was going so well. By that time.... it was sold out. But I'll be there to cheer you on in my #runICOT shirt!
