NO parade in early 2013?

News: Brand New Parade for Magic Kingdom

An all new parade is coming to the Magic Kingdom in Spring of 2014.

The Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade is expected to close in late 2013.

I am only posting the first and last paragraph of this blog. If the new parade starts in the Spring of 2014, and the other is closing late 2013, does this mean there are NO parades in January?

So disappointed for family and friends who will be making their first trip to Disney World in January.

I don't know when in 2014. But yes- at some point the day parade will be dark (I don't know if MSEP will be too).

The MSEP is still going, but it is only there once or twice during the eight days we are there, Just so happens, those are nights we weren't planning on going to the Magic Kingdom.

When we were there in January, there wasn't a night parade each night in MK, so maybe they figure it is easy to "skip" altogether?

Disney parades are good ... hope the new one is good too!
