booked a trip and GF cant go...wat to do

2 wks from today im supposed to arrive at Disney. now my gf cant go. i tried to get friends, but either they cant get the time off or dont have the money. I already took vacation time off and i have an AP I can use.
Do i cancel and sit at home and maybe go to Atlantic city..or should i still go alone at least part of the time since i have admission.
i also had book free flight down using SW rapidrewards points.

You have the AP. Your airfare is paid. Why not go and have a good time on your own? You can change around some ADRs if you want and have a nice relaxing trip full of rejuvenating "me" time. But, if you would rather not go alone, I'm sure you could get refunds and plan for another time.

For me, there's no better place to have time on my own, or with family, or friends, or just with my husband. I prefer to have company, but I've learned that I can have a great time on my own, too.

Go! You may find that you can enjoy the little parts of Disney that you aren't able to when you're with a group! I went with a large group a few years back and ended up getting separated for a little while as they each wanted to do different things. I took it upon myself to walk around the park alone, people watch, go on rides, enjoy the atmosphere and pay attention to the details that we often don't see because we are too involved trying to figure out what to do next and agreeing to it!

I am going slightly against the grain here. How is your GF going to react with you going without her? There are 2 sides of the answer: if she gets mad and lets you hear it for weeks do you really want to be with her OR she is completely o with you going and enjoying yourself. Personally, since it is all paid for, I would go.

this isnt the first time ive arranged a trip and she couldnt go. but its not like we would be spending the time together if i didnt go. so if i dont go i still have the time off and would just be wasting most of the wk.

btw, I went to disney for a week last feb by myself and I had a wonderful time. I drank around the world, took photos w some characters, talked to friends on the phone a bit here and there but all in all I saw disney from a whole new light and considered seriously, for the first time, applying to be a cast member. I dont need to have any special circumstances to enjoy Disneyworld. I just love it and i think there is something to said for having time alone there.

If I already had reservations with flights booked, I'd be inclined to go regardless. I rather enjoy going by myself.

I'll be there in a couple of weeks also. It's one of my favorite times to go. And I think the general consensus is that you SHOULD do it!
